About Love Unzipped™

LoveUnzipped™ is a unique adult boardgame for 3-8 players aged over 20 who still have a twinkle in their eye. It is loads of fun and can be played by people looking for a relationship or those already in a relationship.

It's a way of having fun and finding out more about what your friends, (or people whom you would like to be your friends), think about and do in relationships. LoveUnzipped™ is a:

• perfect "after-dinner" game,
• great way to introduce singles and
• totally outrageous as a girls night in.

LoveUnzipped™ is based on the three stages of relationships - lust, love and lasting. In this relationship boardgame, lust is just another word for attraction. If we are not attracted to someone in the first place, it's unlikely that a relationship will ever happen!

It's tons of fun and players find out a lot about each other and gain real insights into other players. LoveUnzipped asks the questions that you wouldn't dare to ask!

You can win the game by being the first player to succeed at all three phases of successful relationships, lust, love and lasting.

Example questions from LoveUnzipped™:

Lust: What does "lust" mean to you?

1. A warm feeling in your crutch
2. Can’t stop thinking about getting them into bed
3. Never mind the brains – look at the body
4. The feeling you get after 4 drinks

Love: How would you choose to seek revenge at the end of a relationship?

1. Insert prawns into the hem of their bedroom curtains
2. Sleep with their best friend
3. It is the learning that’s important, not the revenge
4. You tell your Lover why it’s over and exactly what you think of them

Lasting: Your Partner has a tattoo that has meaning from a previous relationship. You:

1. Ask them to have it surgically removed
2. Ask them to get a new, bigger tattoo to symbolise your relationship
3. Don’t care
4. Superglue a piece of fake fur to the tattoo

If a player is required to move back beyond the ‘Start here’ on the board, one of their pieces will be sent to the Therapist’s couch and they will need to answer a question so that their piece can restart the phase of either Lust, Love or Lasting.

Therapist’s Couch example question:

The Therapist would like you to demonstrate to everyone the dance style you would use to impress Lusty on your first date. Choose another player to help you. The majority of the Players must agree that this demonstration was good enough then the piece on the Therapist’s couch can re-join the game at Start Here.
